Best earbuds for ~$50?

What would be the best earbud headphones I could get for ~$50? I had a set of Sony's that have good bass response, but I don't find they have a very "full" sound. Previously I had a set of JVC's which sounded great, but got painful on the ears after an hour or so of listening.

Yuin PK2. Probably a little more than $50 nowadays, but they're the best damn earbuds I've ever heard, and I have super high standards. I listen to them for hours every day, still impressed by them each day.

Interesting. That's not a brand I've ever heard of before, but they seem to review very well (though they look like they're from the dollar store). I do prefer the in ear kind though. I find in ear earbuds tend to isolate the noise better, blocking noise from coming in, and also preventing people around me from hearing what I'm listening too.

Yeah, they do look like they're from the dollar store, but looks are deceiving.

I'm personally not a fan of the in ear ones...they make me feel like I'm underwater. They do all of what you said, but first and foremost Im concerned with sound quality and comfort.

Just got a pair of PK3 for 40 bucks because the customs doesn't fit me so well anymore and are getting me dizzy. They sound incredibly open and laid back. probably the closest thing to senn's headphones you can find in the earbud size. step up to PK2 if you want more detail, but listening to adagio for strings right now and i can't ask for more from this price point.

I would get the soundmagic PL30 - I've ordered 2 pair from focalprice. They block out most external noise and sound amazing (IMO). One of the pair i've had for more than 3 years (if you are questioning build quality). I purchased the JVC HARX 700 thinking i needed a set of "cans", but they sounded awful compared to my PL30s so i tossed em. Of course everyone has different headphone taste soo....
