best dvd ripping drive

Not sure if this is where to post this, but need to backup my dvd collection so I can get rid of them and need a fast drive to rip them all.

Have a pioneer and nec2500 dvd burners, but they ripping the dvd's takes forever on these drives. Was thinking of a Lite-on dvd-rom. But which one rips best/fastest. I know there are some drives that can be onlocked to rip faster, but don't know which ones they are. Any other drives that are better?

Appreciate any help, need to get rid of my dvd collection. Just trying to clean up and they're just taking up space.
 
Used to be Lite-On 166S, but that model went out of production. It's now Lite-On 167T. Maximum rip speed, no factory speed lock. Do a search on club.cdfreaks.com
