Best DVD player for under 100?

I assume you mean you want to buy a DVD-ROM drive when you say player. My vote goes to the Pioneer 16x, whose tray loading version is available for $75 and the slot loading version (preferable)that sells at $87. Try here and keep hitting next to see a list of all drives available.

As for the software player, I'd buy Power DVD 3.0, available here for $ 10.
