Don't know about the best, but especially if you want to play divx, get the Philips dvp642. Oh and it can actually be had for under 70, but again its probablly not the best thing out there for 100 bucks.

there are a lot of cheap dvd players out there that'd let you play all regions too...yeah divx is good too

get the norcent 220 from amazon for $45, plays divx and everything great. I have 4 of them.
