Best DVD Copy Program?!

I am looking for DVD copy program such as Elaborate Byte CloneDVD coupled with SlySoft AnyDVD to make 1:1 copy back up's of my current DVD selection. When I go camping I like to have a copy of the movies in my camper and sometimes they get scratched so I wanna back them up on another DVD.

If you know of any good software paid or not that does better then CloneDVD and AnyDVD please reply ^_^ Thanks

Also thinking about switching from BitDefender to Kaspersky Anti Virus... BitDefender is slowing down my slow machine... :-(

Never heard of either program you cited - I have always used DVD Decrypter and DVD Shrink for that backup purpose.

DVD Decrypter to save to ISO
Then burn (if no copression is needed with DVD Decrypter

Use DVD Shrink as needed

Then burn with DVD Decrypter.

All free. You can still get DVD Decrpyter here:
http://www.doom9.org/
(it's in the downloads somewere)

And just google dvd shrink.

Since DVD Decrypter is no longer being developed, you can supplement it with RipIt4Me for some of the more troublesome titles.

DVDFab Platinum. Highly recommended and will do everything for you (rip, shrink, burn).

DVD Shrink has issues with some newer titles.
DVD Decrypter is running out of life (has problems with some newer titles). Now you can use RipIt4Me like diegoalcatraz said, but that is just like a plug-in for DVD Decrypter so it can handle the newer titles.

Now you can go with the free route (DVD Shrink, DVD Decrypter with RipIt4Me), but you may come to a grinding hault when DVD Shrink doesn't work for you. If you have teh money, I'd highly recommend DVDFab Platinum. It's all you need.

One question though. Are you going to be watching these movies on a DVD player or on a laptop? If you are going to use a laptop, I'd highly recommend just encoding the movies to xvid or divx (or whatever compression you like) to save space and should be easier to take along with you (just store it on your hard drive).

dang I find imgburn to be confusing as all get-out, especially the "modes".
but that's just me. Glad it's useful to you!

If you're looking to make 1:1 copies a better solution than AnyDVD+CloneCD doesn't exist.

DVD shrink does everything I need.
ISO's can be burned with many programs. Sometimes I use Roxio, sometimes, Nero. Whatever my heart desires.

Before I knew about DVD shrink I spent tons of money on crappy programs like CloneDVD and DVDXcopy.
