Currently I am using TMPGENC Dvd Author for making DVD's, but its features are pretty limited IMO. Recommendations please?

I use Pinnacle Studio 9. It's like $99, works well, just a bit buggy.

Though I haven't used it, I've read that the latest version of TMPGENC Author is getting pretty good. Maybe it would help if you tell us which specific features you're looking for that are missing in your current program.

I've heard good things about DVD-lab, in terms of features for a reasonable price.

Also look on VideoHelp for endless discussions of this topic.

Adobe encore is solid but expensive. Sonic also makes some great apps, (mydvd is cheap and simple, dvdit is a bit higher end, senerist is professional). Depending on what features you are really looking for, what you are using it for and how much you can afford to spend one of those may fit.
