I just bought my first DVD Audio disc and other than the fact that the RIAA mafia won't let me rip it, it is awesome. But of course this only applies to my surround system not my computer.

Of course, Creative has one the didn't include with my Audigy2 for free. So I am saying screw them. If I paid $200 for a SoundCard and you want to sell something above and beyond, forget it!

Does anybody know of a DVD Audio player for the computer? If so, is it cheap/free?

If you can't download creative's player, then you're best off paying Creative the $10 for a new CD. I don't know how they didn't include it w/ a $200 card though...

Anyways, the next best thing would be WinDVD's DVD Audio player, but that requires a WinDVD License ($70) and the DVD Add on pack ($30.) It adds zero functionality above and beyond Creatives player, aside from allowing you to use the cool picture menus on the disc.

You could always just listen to the DD track that they encode onto most DVD audio discs.... sure, it's not DVD-A quality, but at least it's playable with any DVD player.
