I'm currently running a server for my personal network on a CUSL2 with a P3 733 and 512MB PC133. It's running Windows 2000 Server and performs ICS, file & print sharing, web services and ftp services. So, it's not like I need a quad Xeon setup, I just have another P3 733 that I bought at the exact same time for a 2nd computer (workstation) that I am going to be upgrading in November, and I don't want that 2nd processor to go to waste, so I want to try my luck at setting up a dual CPU server with the two P3 733s that I have. I already have 768MB (non-ECC) of PC133 that I can use for the server as well, so I would like to stay with a chipset that supports socket 370 & non-ECC SDRAM instead of DDR or Rambus, however I am open to other options if they are "that much" better for what I need it for.
So my question is: what would be the most stable dual socket 370 motherboard based on a chipset which supports non-ECC PC133 SDRAM, ATA100, etc? I do not need audio, RAID, LAN or onboard video. However, if the board is that much more stable, I just might be interested in it even though it has those built in. I've checked out reviews out there but a lot of them are conflicting in the results and I need some help.
P.S. I won't be overclocking so I don't need anything that can handle it.
TIA
