Matrox Parhelia if your willing to pay the rather considerable price to get the best quality, feature set and versatility.

You can get a G550 at a much cheaper price though, and it'll offer the best 2D visual quality available short of the Parhelia, and pair it with the most versatile multi-monitor feature set available.

The downside being of course that the G550's 3D performance is quite poor.

If you just want a cheap solid board would good 2D and a good multi-monitor implementation, then the ATi Radeon VE is quite attractively priced. Though again, it's 3D erformance leaves much to be desired.

lol, yeah, he just said "the best dual head on the market", that why I mentioned the Parhelia... Another good one is if I'm not mistaken, the GF4 Ti4200 cards... And the ATi 8500 AIW...

Unfortunately, the 8500 AIW doesn't support dual VGA out. I have one but I wish it did. :D The regular Radeon 8500s do, however.

Yep, it's about the only thing the AIW 8500 lacks is multi-monitor output. The AIW is stuck to resorting to the TV for the second output.

It's the same case with the R7500, the regular R7500 has multi-monitor support, but the AIW iteration lacks it.

there is a dual dvi ti4600 out there. since you just want dual monitors, i'd say its still better than the parhelia
