Derived from this thread... I think I am gonna go for DSL if my apartment complex doesn't let me use Adelphia or comcast (which I know they won't, motherfvckers, grrr.). So what's the best DSL service out there? Price is not an issue.
 
like i said in the other thread, verizon gets my vote. it's cheap and the CSR's are not from india, even though they might be dumb as hell.


 
my parents live i think about 50m from a routing station, no matter which service we are using we get amazing service. We started with earthlink and had GREAT speads, but now we have sbc, and the speeds are just slightly slower... still, for us no matter who we go with, we seem to get amazing speeds, yay for location location location.
 
Avoid SBC DSL. I have them and if you have any issues with DSL messing up, they'll charge you money for the fix.

Go with the faster, more reliable, and cheaper broadband cable service. Period!
