BEST DRIVERS TO USE WITH AN PNY GEFORCE 4 4200?

I know the software bundle that came with the card is obsolete, so what is the drivers/software i should install that will give me the best stability, speed, and options?

30.82 is favorite for clarity and color
40.52 has great performance
40.72 is slightly lower on performance, but the quality is better (some people like the 30.82 better, but I can't tell a difference...I can tell a slight difference with the 40.52)

As usual, it's all relative.

I think the 40.72's are the fastest it got my little back-up Dragon+ XP1900 Soyo over 11,400 on 2001SE with a Ti4200 and nothing over clocked, I know 3Dmark doesn't mean anything but take it for what it is worth

I would try the latest official 40.72 drivers and see how it goes,so far I`ve had no problems with them,second choice would be 30.82 drivers for me.

I bought the card installed the latest driver from nvidia site, all good.
Few questions.

TV OUTPUT to a 27in mitsubishi is fair, but there is a transparent refresh BAR that goes up, all the time, and its just annying? any1 experience something similar?

O/C - i got the mem up to 575 with no problem, 600 gives me artifacts. CORE - only 260. Should i exchange to anoterh g4 4200, to try out if i can go higher?

Did you try to use TV-OUT while overclocked? Perhaps this was causing the problem.

I did that. Can it be the TV? or just how the geforce 4 tv out is?

Or if you're lazy, I'll summarize: The 30.82 drivers are THE DRIVERS to use for stability and performance. If you want to experiment with newer drivers, some people have had great success (but some have had steady problems, with all revisions). If you want to just use the safe and solid choice, go with 30.82

I initially tried several other drivers, but since going with the 30.82's, I've been very happy and had no problems.
