Best drivers for Voodoo 5 PCI?

Just got a PCI version of the V5 5500 card, no driver CD. Kinda confusing looking around at Voodoo Files over which drivers I'm supposed to download, or which would be the best ones. Also curious about tweaking utilities as well. And does anybody know where to download a PDF of the manual?

I'm currently using Win98SE running DX8, but I could always drop back to DX7.x (I have no problem with that...what is written for DX8, anyway?).

It's going to be my secondary video card, pushing a CRT monitor (Viewsonic GS790) while my Marvel is going to push a RAD-5 LCD. Naturally, it will be my gaming card.

Any info appreciated. 10Q.

I have a Voodoo5-5500 AGP and I'm using the last drivers 3dfx put out: the 1.04.01 betas. These'll work just fine for you.

Last driver I used for the V5 was the Beta8 6000. Use the tweak guide and you can get alot of performance out of it.

What about the x3dfx v1.08.04 drivers? Apparently these guys fixed some DX8 and FSAA issues that I'm guessing were present in the last-released 3DFX drivers. Out of 304 votes, these drivers got a rating of 4.22 out of 5, and are also recommended by some guys who does third-party benchmark testing, but I'm also concerned about stability.
