I picked up a Hercules 3d Prophet II MX. What are the best drivers for Win2000? And where can I get an overclocking utility?
 
I would suggest the latest official drivers from Nvidia...12.41's. I heard the 12.90 drivers offer up to 10% performance increase over the 12.41s but have not bothered to try them yet, since the 12.41s are running stable on my GF2 Pro. As far as overclocking, you can download Powerstrip and use its o/c utility...very easy interface.
 
hmm i think the prophets are clocked at 183mhz for memory...so if you're lucky you might be able to hit 200 😀. Don't even bother w/ the core clock speed...it's pretty much worthless since GF2s are memory bandwidth limited.
 
the problem with this card is that it doesn't have a fan. first i would buy a fan. then you probly could get the core speed above 200mhz.
