best drivers for css and x850xtpe?

Catalyst 5.2. However the 5.2's should be coming out anytime.

5.2 has been out since February (.2) 2005 (5). Put them together and you get .25? 😛 (5.2)

This is not that hard... think.

5 (The year in which the drivers were released), .2 (The Month the drivers were released. Hence the 5.2's were released last month (February). However seeing as it is March now, the 5.3's should be right around the corner. Right now the Catalyst 5.2's are the best out there.

Well since that is what Mr. Makeadon (catalyst maker) on rage forums said ...I would think that is accurate AND they are committed to 1 WQHL release a month and the the 4.12 was a december release etc....you are prolly correct.

The 5.3 should bring more bug fixes but the 5.2 should be just fine...enjoy your awesome card

Don't forget what ATI says though. Only update drivers if you are having problems or they are known to increase performance. 5.2's work fine for me and I have an x850XT PE, noticed no difference since 4.12 in CS:S.
