Best driver support- FreeBSD or Linux?

I'm more inclined to say that it's Linux, simply because more people are involved in developing it. Also I sometimes look at kernel changelogs, just for grins, and I often see a driver modification/inclusion.
I think NetBSD, though, will run on the widest range of machines... they even say that.


Of course, I could be way off-base.

Linux has more drivers. For some devices FreeBSD has better drivers. Im sure there are some linux drivers that are better than the freeBSD counterparts, but I havent seen anything about FreeBSD developers using linux code. (mostly because they cant, although linux developers frequently take BSD code). None of this was meant as an insult to linux or anything, if it seems like that sorry.
