What's the best / most stable driver? Right now I'm using the driver installed using the windows update:

Provider: Nvidia
Date: 12/10/2001
Version: 2.3.1.2

How is this one different from the one on Nvidia's site? 23.11 only has a date of 12/03/2001.

Also should I updgrade the bios, my version is 3.15.0104, I can't tell from Gainward's site what would be a newer one.

Thanks!

Unless your having specific problems with the card that you know will be fixed by the BIOS update I wouldnt bother, as BIOS updates on graphiccs cards can occasionally be a touchy affair.

As for the best driver, IMHO it's the nVidia reference beta drivers 21.81 or 27.10.

I've had good luck with the 27.xx drivers. Can't remember the last numbers offhand because my main system has been sitting dead lately - waiting for replacement HD. But I have the same video card, and I noticed a decent performance increase from those drivers in Win98SE.
In terms of the BIOS, I think there only is one version of it for the GTS-Ti series. I just used a program to hack the BIOS to enable Sideband Addressing, which just squeezes a wee bit more performance out of it.

The best driver IMHO is the 23.12 WHQL from Microsoft,so far I`ve had excellent stability and gaming has been fine :).
