Best Driver for a Ti500

Ive been hearing some say the 23.12 drivers are the only really good ones for the geforce 3 series. With the release of the new 40s I was wondering if someone had compared the 23.12s with the new drivers to see which is the best?

I used to run the 2940's on my Ti500 when I was running it, and it was very nice, I just tried the new Dets on my Ti4600, and they are faster than previous drivers, and MOHAA is clearer than the drivers before/ hope that helps a bit.

I have GF3s in both my computers. I tried the det. 40s and didn't like some of the results.

The best for me is the det. 30.82

edit: I also had good luck with 28.32, 29.42, and 23.12

The first thing I noticed was that the resolution 1280 x 960 x 32 was no longer available to me ???

I know this is kind of a wierdo res. but it looks great on my monitor and I have used it forever.

The second thing I noticed was that when I went to play a game or do the 3Dmark benchmark, the

monitor refresh rate reverted to 60Hz. This has happened in the past, but I was always able to fix it

using RivaTuner. This time RivaTuner did not work.

Finally, it looked to me like Nvidia has cut some of the detail out of the display to increase it's speed.

That was unforgivable.......... (cheap marketing IMO).

So I went back to the 30.82 drivers which have never given me any problems whatsoever.
