Just wonder what's the best driver for a 9800 Pro? I just installed mine with the installation disc that comes with the package. Is it necessary for me to upgrade to a better driver? Also what AA/AS rate you guys usually tune your card to?

Also I asked earlier is there any difference between a card with Samsung or Hynix ram, can anyone give me some comment? Is the Hynix ram running faster than the Samsung ram on a 9800 Pro?

Thanks for everyone's help.

You'll probably want to use the latest (as of now, 4.5) drivers from ATI's website. The ones that shipped with your card might be fairly old, although they should work.

I generally run 4xAA and 8x or 16xAF, although this varies a bit depending on what I'm playing (SW: KOTOR, for instance, runs poorly with 4xAA at 1280x960).

At stock speeds, the RAM you have doesn't matter. The better Samsung RAM will usually overclock more, but if you're not overclocking, there's no difference.

Thanks for your help. If I want to OC the card, should I use another driver?

Also what do I have to pay attention to before OC the card? I scare that I may burn the card! Other than a large power PS (a PS over 400W), what else do I need to have a safe OC? Thanks again!
