Best driver for 5900 Ultra

Hi guys,

Wondering what you think is the best driver revision for a 5900 Ultra. I've tried older ones like 45.23 (which I've always used on my gf4s) and the latest ones as well. They all seem to work OK for what I use them for, but what are the best performance-wise?

I always use the latest drivers no mattery what card.

You shouldn't, BouZouki.

Check the driver thread. Right now i recommend the XG 73.00 or the XG 76.41's. If you want to stay official, the 71.89s are very nice as well.

Hopefully once i get some time i will be able to write a review on every driver that comes out, but that is A LOT of work. It would also require me to find an ATI card to bench with.

I'm currently using the 71.89...seems ok so far and they seem to be the second fastest I've tried so far after the 52.16.

I usually use the latest for just about everything except video. For example, I still use 45.23 on my ti4200. Some later versions lower performance on that card by 5-10%.
