Hey everyone, what do you think the best domain registrar is for registering .com .net and .org domains.

Is Network Solutions still the most trustworthy? I heard GoDaddy actually owns the rights to your name so thats a no no.

What do you think?

WHAT DID YOU SAY?

I AM THINKING ABOUT GOING WITH 1AND1 cuz they are $2.89 cheaper.

Nevermind that everyone else recommends NameCheap.com which offers free WhoisGuard protection for the first year.

noooooo, I'm still gonna go with 1and1.

Remember "you get what you pay for".

What's your budget?

Dude I just registered a new domain at 1and1 as well, it was soooo cheap $5.99

(jumping up and down)

Did I do good?

Did I ?????

Woweee they have cheap web hosting as well. I think I should host it from home using my phat intarweb pipe and Windows IIS. Paying for web hosting is for suckers.

Oh man I am SOOOOOOOOOO GLAD I LEARNED ABOUT 1AND1

I kind of just want to get this domain to hold onto it since I lost the rights to my com domain and a damn squatter bought it. I also just want some webspace to teach myself css and web coding. just to toy around with I guess.

Namecheap is looking good though - I have some college web space so I guess I could just point to that.

Why pay for web hosting when you can get free web hosting?

Namecheeap looks amazing, thanks

Don't go with them, they will steal your domain and they're expensive!!!

There is a better domain registrar for less money.
