I currently own a samsung 710N 17" and want to upgrade it, mainly for gaming purposes.
video card is a 7800GS but will probably upgrade it soon...
 
For 22", I'd plump for the Lenovo L220x. Amazon has it. The ONLY 22" 1920x1200 LCD, uses an S-PVA Samsung panel. I am personally picking one up for my hi-def PC tomorrow morning. 8-bit panel, 92% color gamut. No comparison to ANY TN panel.
