best disk checking software for Windows Vista

Looking for something preferably not checkdisk/scandisk to scan and repair my portable harddrives( one is fat32 one is ntfs) looking for something very easy to use and which is LEAST likely to alter data.

and can scan logical file structures but will just scan unless I ask it to repair.
