Best Digital Camera

Airsofter

Banned
Hi, I am in the market for a new digital camera. The only dig camera I have ever owned was an HP 735 which I got 3 years ago. It is ok, but I don't like a lot of things about it. The pictures turn out blurry if you make the slightest move, indoor shots look terrible, it eats through batteries like crazy, and it is kind of bulky.

I am not going to be taking too many pictures, I just need something that will get the job done when you need it to. I just want something that is easy to use, takes good indoor shots, has a fast shutter speed, won't break too easily, relatively compact, and gives nice shots.

I did a little reasearch and was thinking on some Canons or Sony's, but I don't know the first thing about digital cameras and what advances have been made over the past 3 years.

I have a ton of gift certicates to best buy, so I would prefer to make my purchase there to use some of them up. I am looking to spend up to about $250 including battery and memory card. Any suggestions are appreciated.

Dell has the a620 for $184 if you know how to search 😉

If you want something ultracompact, i just got a sony dsc-p200 and i LOVE it

That Dell deal is so tempting, but I need to get rid of all these Best Buy gift certificates. I wanted a laptop after graduation, so everyone gave me BestBuy giftcards. I ended up with a sick Inspiron E1705 with a T2400 and 7900GS for $1260 from Dell.

Back on topic, I don't need a bunch of features or anything. Just something that is easy to use and takes good pictures. Looking at Bestbuy, they have a Sony DSC-S600 for $200. Would that suit me well?

I just sold my G3, and picked up a SD450 for around $200 end cost. I have a D70, thats why I Ebay'd the G3.. I really wanted something compact, and so far I really like the SD450 for something thats actually convenient to take everywhere.
