Hi, I am in the market for a new digital camera. The only dig camera I have ever owned was an HP 735 which I got 3 years ago. It is ok, but I don't like a lot of things about it. The pictures turn out blurry if you make the slightest move, indoor shots look terrible, it eats through batteries like crazy, and it is kind of bulky.
I am not going to be taking too many pictures, I just need something that will get the job done when you need it to. I just want something that is easy to use, takes good indoor shots, has a fast shutter speed, won't break too easily, relatively compact, and gives nice shots.
I did a little reasearch and was thinking on some Canons or Sony's, but I don't know the first thing about digital cameras and what advances have been made over the past 3 years.
I have a ton of gift certicates to best buy, so I would prefer to make my purchase there to use some of them up. I am looking to spend up to about $250 including battery and memory card. Any suggestions are appreciated.
