What do you all recommend for under $250? I NEED it to have a Li-Ion battery or similar. I don't want to deal with changing batteries. I've read most of the digital camera threads but almost all of the recommendations use AA batteries.

TIA.

I'm not sure of current pricing, but the Sony DSC 75 is a good choice. it's probably closer to $350.00 tho.

if you get it, i'm willing to bet your won't regret it. it's a sweet camera.

Li-ion battery does not guarantee the camera will last longer than AA Ni-MH.
In fact, Canon A70 is one of the best in battery life with AA Ni-MH.
Get at least 2000mah and it will last a long time.

if you read the reviews, the on thing ALL reviewers liked about the Sony cameras was the battery life. it pretty much killed everyone else with batter life.

I have the Sony DSC 85 so i'm probably biased, but it does have exceptionally good battery life.

Anyone have any thoughts on the Nikon Coolpix 885? I found it for $199 refurb. Lists at most places for ~$470 new.
