Best Digital Camera for Macros

A digital SLR with a macro lens would be ideal. If you can't do that, look at getting a Canon G5, and get either a wide angle/macro combo or macro rings.
 
i just want to take good pictures of objects up close. i am pretty content with the performance of the f717. i am curious if there are better.
 
Of course there are better cameras, but our suggestions will merely depend on your budget. Tell us what your budget is and we'll come up with some suggestions 🙂
 
Even a canon A60 takes great macro pictures. It depends on HOW good and how MUCH you want to spend, and what you need. You can drop 1000$+ plus 300$+ on a digital SLR and macro lens, but if you are just taking pics for ebay it would be a waste lol
