hi using a newcastle AMD64 3000+ processor on a DFI nf3 250gb board. i tried running benchmarks using sisoft sandra and they are pathetic. also the temps reported by the BIOS as well as Speedfan are very high. im using AS5 on an XP-90 with a panaflo fan as my HSF solution.
i read somewhr thats its the BIOS which is causing all this. Is thr a better BIOS out thr or which is the best one. tried DFI website and they suck!!! my current BIOS ver is dates 08/27/2004...
one thing i must say abt DFI is they make gr8 mbd's but thr documentation and BIOS updates are lousy to say the least...
