Best Detonator drivers to use under Windows 2000?

I remember seeing a site that reviewed each revision number under 9X & 2000, and gave the improvements and advantages of each. Does anyone have a link, or know from experience which are the most stable / have best performance? I've heard the 7.xx versions improve performance immensely under 2000 (not 9X) with DX8. But I could be smoking copious amounts of crack, also. Anything would help. Thanks in advance.
 
I'm using the 7.10 drivers and have a GeForce2 GTS...runs just fine. The 7.17 drivers work on everything but Half-Life and I play CStrike more than Quake3 so there goes that. That's just my experience. I've heard the 7.17 were the best for 2K so try those and if something is wrong, try the 7.10.

Install DX8 on 2K too...it does help. I've done some minor testing on 4 machines and DX8 improved the performance
