Hey all,

I'm just looking to get some input from folks on what dell model laptop is the best gig for the money. I get 12% off through work, and for the next 3 days, I get an extra 34% off, so I'm not necessarily looking to pinch pennies. Does the Inspiron XPS Gen 2 justify the extra cost (~$2,300 before 34% discount) over say an Inspiron 9300 for (~$1,200 before 34% discount)?

Thanks for any tips!

I have a 9300 and I think given the big bucks for the XPS....that you could get a 9300 decked out real nice and get more bang for your bucks.

You also might want to check out the Dell Outlet. I was able to pick up a nice 8600 last year for $1200 which was about $700 off of the original price.
