I placed an order over the weekend on an item which they now say was priced incorrectly. Does anyone have experience with getting companies to honor these prices, and if so what's the best way to go about doing so?

Thanks in advance.

if they didnt ship it yet, then they can change the price, i believe, else, the price is yours.

They did not ship it but I have a print out of the price as well as an email from them for order confirmation. Surely there has to be a way to get this Web site to honor the price.

If they charged your card then you have a right to complain, otherwise give up.

I believe that if they neither charged your card or shipped the item (and I doubt that they would ship the item without charging your card), then you have no recourse.

Accidents happen.

Hop over to Hot Deals, those guys are experts on this. Professionals at deliberately buying mispriced items. They can provide all the classic "bait and switch" threats you need.

Hey I'm not trying to make the company go out of business or anything, their website clearly states they sell products for 30-50% off retail and this price would have made it about 50% off retail. You guys sure are touchy, I just figured there was some internet mandate for things like this, guess not.

Yeah, but don't post a thread about it, because those same guys will ream you for posting something that's not a hot deal, then tell the mods to lock it. They have a bunch of people over there who are minimods.
