Best Debut Album of all time

I say either Guns N Roses Appetite for destruction or Van Halen's first one. Anyone think of any one better?

Pearl Jam - ten

and

Rage Against the Machine - Rage Against the Machine

are both awesome albums that blow guns and roses and van halen out of the water.

Even though I'm not a huge fan of the clash, I must admit that their debut album is most likely one of the best.

Edit: I won't say that Ten is necessarily better, but that it is one of the best albums ever, as graded by me on the scale of putting cd in and not worrying about it. Appetite is up there too, and stands as one of the best ever albums as well.

Rage against the Machine does not blow guns and roses or van halen out of the water.

Ten I might agree with.

The BEST is too hard to choose, but I know the one at the other end of this argument.

Nirvana's - Nevermind 😀

that wasnt a debut.

anyways, pearl jam-ten came instantly to mind for me too.

I have to agree with Pearl Jam - Ten
The Doors, lets see: Break on Throught, Crystal Ship, Light My Fire, The End (my favorite song of all time)
Soundgarden: Outshined
Stone Temple Pilots : Core
Rage Against the Machine
GNR: Appetite for Destruction
Beastie Boys: License to Ill

All of these albums are instant masterpieces, and none of the bands listed above have been able to even come close to topping them.
