Intuit is forcing quicken 2002 users to upgrade, atleast users who want to use the downloading feature for transactions from their financial institutions. :|

Who has the best deal on it now? Quicken is offering it for $39.95 downloaded.

If you really believe "they suk", then maybe you could also consider Microsoft Money :)

As a past Quicken user, I also received their letter and came away thinking that their position was pretty reasonable.

I dropped them during the TurboTax authentication snafu a couple of years ago, and switched over to TacCut/Money. Each year I look for the best package deal. This year I got TaxCut (with electronic filing and state tax) with Money 2005 Deluxe for $19.99 after rebates at CompUSA.

I know that there are similar package deals.

Good luck!
