Best Deal for Xbox 360 Slim 250GB Console?

Guys,

I am about to buy the Xbox 360 Slim 250GB console and I've been hunting around for one to no avail.

Most brick-and-mortar stores don't even have them (they all have the Kinect one bundled in which I don't want) and Amazon is asking $329.

Ebay has a couple around $300 (including shipping) but that's no "deal".

Anyone know where the best deal for this console is?

Thanks.

It's 300 for the HD250. I'd go for the 200 dollar model but that's just me. You can always hook up external HD's in the future if its that important.

Get the 4gb version and buy a 250GB2.5" off newegg (has to be specific model) if you need the space. The new xbox has a very quite dvd so there is not too much point of copying the game to the HD.

You mean try to mod a standard laptop drive to get past the DRM? You do need a 360-S caddy for that right? And don't you lose Xbox-1 backwards compatibility? There's also always a small chance that MS will decide to ban the console, this might not be the best way to save $50.

Also: MS uses several DVD suppliers, not all of them are quiet. The DVD in my Jasper 360 is very loud, using it instead of the HD for games would really annoy me.
