an Intel D875PBZ board ? I wan't to get the highest performance RAM possible that this board will allow without becoming unstable. I see you mention Corsair LL and Kingston HyperX.

Can you point out which model #'s i should look at ?

I'm planning to go with 1 gig dual channel by using 512mb modules.

thanks.

P4 should be coupled with 3rd party boards, not Intel boards. Intel boards are known for stablity not performance.

It doesn't matter since you can't overclock. Any brand-named RAM should do it for you. At the same timings, the difference between brands is too small to notice.

ok so the different timings offered from different brands won't affect it then.

good, thanks.
