best day to go to six flags?

by best, i mean, the day with the less people. Im thinking about going to six flags (the one in NJ) and i dont want to wait in lines for like 3 hours. So yeah, whens the best day to go?

Went with a co-worker the other day on a thursday...it was perfect. We got there at 10, and by 11:30 had hit 5 coasters. By 2 we had been on all of them AND eaten lunch. We basically walked around winning prizes for another 2 hours then left.
 
we as a physics class (11th grade) went 4 weeks ago on a tuesday morning. there was almost no one there, save for the couple of 8th grade classes. after 12PM though, it started getting full.

Better go befor school is out or its all over for the rest of the summer. Get their right as they open so you can catch the best rides first with little or no lines. Then once you ride those, the lines wont be as long for some fo the "lesser" rides cause everyone is standing inline for the best rides.
 
the best day is wednesday. The way to do it is figure out the ride you want to go on the most, which will most likely be the newest one, or the one with the longest wait. just make sure you're there when they open and run to that ride. then there's virtually no wait. Another thing I recommend is the Flash Pass. you pay something like $15 or $20 for four tickets, and you get to go to the front of the line, no waiting, for four rides. Some of the Six FLags have implemented the Qbot, which is somewhat like the flashpass, only instead of paper tickets you get a pager. The qbot figures how long the wait might be, and pages you in that time period so you can do other things instead of wait in line. I like the qbot better because it's unlimited.

The catch, though: if it's a non busy day like a wednesday, they might not offer the flash pass/qbot.
 
oh man...funny that you ask....my company took and intern trip out there today, great adventure in nj and there were NO LINES on any ride un fvcking beliavable, ive never seen a theme park like that....we had a ton of fun cause of the no wait time....btw it was prolly so good bc it was raining earlier, but it was really nice during the time we were there.

yeah i agree. i always try to go on school days and get there as early as i can. last time we did that i rode everything i wanted by 12! it was a lot of fun. to bad its so damn expensive to go.

what is 'full' to you?
i went senior skip day to Cedar Point (this year it was monday, may 8), and it was basically only other seniors from whitmer, random skippers from other schools and field trip classes. it was dead and everything was essentially a walk on.
 
i always find early in the morning or in the evening after about 6 or so the lines are very very small.

but like everyone else said, before school is out is definantly key. If you go on a weekend then its gotta be may, early-mid june or september after labour day
