I'm ready to select the next victim CPU. :)

I asked a similar question awhile ago, and the general consensus (basically, what CompuWiz prefered) was to go with a Cc0 700E FCPGA on an Asus 133 slot adapter.

I would like to get to 1Ghz w/o going crazy, don't want to tweak the PCI and AGP busses too much.

Maybe an 800?

Mobo Asus P2B-F(I love this board:))
w/Asus S370-133 slot adapter, Alpha
Memory 256MB Hyundai CL3 PC133
Video CL Annihilator GeForce256 Pro 32MB DDR

Click on rig below for more system details.

Should I start with higher than a 7x multiplier?

TIA!

Note: I'm not afraid of cranking up the voltage. ;)

700's go to 933 on 133 bus... so if your running decent components... 700's should make 1 gig and still run fine with your pci and agp stuff... and if you succeed, the FSB will really boost performance

I love those P2B-F mobos too.. Infact I think I want to try and find one for another system build. they're just great. the best Cu-Mine for overclocking's gotta be either a 650 or 700
the 650's go to 866 and the 700's do 933
my 700 runs 966 even on the crappy overclocking CUSL2-C.
