Best Credit Card to get?

I've been a member of Clout Visa for about 2 years. Each month I get at least one call from some dude in India asking me "Would you like a Clout Visa card?"

OMGWTFHELLO??!!?!?

Of course they say that they'll put me off their calling list but they never do.

Besides this minor annoyance, my card currently has hardly any benefits.

What CC's do you guys recommend? I'm a 19-year-old college student with (I think) excellent credit, and I use my CC a lot.

AMEX? What about that card that gaurantees pricematches?

Others?

TIA

my favorite card is an Amex Preferred Rewards Gold (annual fee, but comes with BVG). second favorite is Amex Blue. and since i don't carry a balance to deal with variable APR, i like the Chase Amazon.com Visa. i keep an MBNA card for one-time use numbers.

I think only the Amex cc's with an ANNUAL FEE offer BVG (price matching). They ended that over a year ago.

CitiBank Dividend Platinum Select rocks and has great rewards with $0 annual fee

Rossman hit it right on the head as far as I'm concerned.

mind that he's a college student = no income. im not entirely sure they'd approve him. try a student card.

Even with a student card, good luck in getting approved.
