NO, the garbage from Bollywood does not qualify as "movies."

Japan has terrible horror movies. England has terrible movies about people wearing monocles and petticoats having boring conversations.

I liked Ringu. AFAIK, that's the only Japanese movie I've seen, horror or otherwise, so 100% of the Japanese horror films I've seen have been good.

Forgot about that. Well, I can't say that's much worse than the American monster counterparts, but compared to Hitchcock, it's pretty meh.

For British films, you've got Sir David Lean. Korean, Park Chan-wook.

I don't watch many movies period; maybe a handful a year. I only saw Ringu because I watched, and liked The Ring a lot, and wanted to hunt down the original. I liked them equally. I think they both did things well, and I don't have a clear preference.
