I'd say

Japan (they have all the cool technology and weird fascinating pop culture)

Tokyo != all of Japan

That's like saying New York State is too crowded
when just about anything outside of NYC is normal


I lived in Northern Japan before ... pretty rural / suburban

Point taken, although i think i would still prefer Canada.
