Best core for FX series?

I'm looking at buying an FX-55 processor. When I look at it on Newegg, there are two different cores that they are selling, the clawhammer and the sledgehammer. The claw hammer is $899 in an OEM option and the sledgehammer is a full $50 less in the retail box so I would reckon that the clawhammer is the better core, but I really have no idea. Given that I'm already going to spend at least $850 on a processor, I would really like to make sure that I am buying the best possible one. Can somebody tell me what core to look for in an FX-55 cpu?

I have NO idea why they are listed like that. However, I don't think that there's a difference. So if you're gonna grab and FX-55, get the $849 one.
