best cooling option for Athlon XP

I've got two computers in a warehouse environment that are running into some problems. Since it's summer, I'm beginning to suspect it's heat related. The warehouse itself is probably around 50-55 degrees C (just a guess). I installed speedfan, and the CPU temps are 54 and 60 degrees. One of them has a volcano 7 and the other has a generic speeze cooler. What are some of the best cooling options out there for Athlon xp's? I really want to try to get these temps under control.

If the ambient air is around 50-55C, there's no possible way that they'll be stable with air or water cooling. You'll need something along the lines of high end peltier or phase change.

those sound expensive....but i'd like to look at them. Got any links?

anyway, I still want to look into the air cooling possibility because like i said, that temp is just a guess. So what's the best hs/fan possibility for socket A?

Look into ones made by Thermalright. They used to have some for socket A that bolted through the motherboard and were 100% copper. One even had heatpipes. I think those are discontinued. You can get the SP90 (I think that's the model) which is an aluminum with copper bottom and uses heatpipes and a 92mm fan.

I also have a spare older Thermalright, forgot model but it was highest end all copper, no heatpipes, clipped onto socket lugs and used 92mm fan. LMK.

I myself have an xp-90 sitting on my A64 at home and I love it. Do they make any for mobo's that don't have mounting holes?

HA...yeah, i was way off....sorry about that. No human is meant to work in those conditions, either. We're talking probably 85 dgrees F on a cool day. Probably 90 or 93 on the worst. I've had the si-97 recommended to me, but I'm having a hard time finding them for under 35 dollars. Is there a better alternative? Is there somewhere that I can get an si-97 for under that price?

Yeah, 50c would kill you after a couple hours. Get something like a si-97 with a good fan, also undervolt and/or underclock it a little if it needs more.

Hunt for a SLK-947U in FS/FT. A hunk of copper from Thermalright. But it bolts to the mobo, so check your mobo needs a backplate or not. Might also match it up with a Tornado fan.

only one of the mobo's has mounting holes...i just bought two si-97's with some vantec fans that put out 56 cfm and 40dba....that should be enough

I just got a SLK-947U off the FS/FT forums.. .costs about $20, so it's cheap.
Probably the 'best' Socket A HS of all time! (Wanted something HEAVY and all-copper)

You could look into the SLK900A. Fits up to 92mm fans and shouldnt be as expensive as the SP-97.

The SI-97 is much like an XP-90, whereas the SP-97 is a chunk of copper with some heatpipes running through it.
