I'm also interested in this question.

One warning about the NV Silencer 6, though. You might not be able to fit a ramsink on half of the ram.

Zalman 700CU or whatever (their all copper video cooler) would be best IF you have good airflow. If you don't have good airflow, and you have a second slot free, and you don't mind not having ramsinks on half your ram, then get the NV sliencer.

Blah. I have great airflow over the top of the card. The bottom, though... the hard disks block the front intake and my side fan is over the CPU...

IMHO the MSI has very good stock cooling. If it is overheating you need to look at your case airflow.

I used to own a msi 6600gt and it had excellent cooling. There is no reason to change it, even with some overclocking.
what are your temps?

Well the reason I want to change the cooling in the first place is in games like call of duty my card will Lags a little bit. When I had a 9800 pro it didn't lag AT ALL. So I'm guessing that this may be in part due to the cooling of the card. I have a huge case with 4 case fans running and a tornado blowing on the CPU. Although I have a slot for a side fan I have not used it yet which I will do shortly. I am also confident the lag problem is not the cable connection as I have another computer nexted to mine that has a 9800pro that runs flawless. My cpu temps were near 38-38 degrius Celsius in the winter, now they are up to 47. Thanks
