Best cooling for a Socket A Duron??

i just ordered a fop32. i'll post when i get it, but a million people seem to love the thing.

general consensus seems to be that the fop38 will drive you nutty, it's so loud.

personnally, i think orbs suck.

I got a FOP38 and it's horribly loud but it doesn't bother me for some reason and gets some major cooling so I'm cool with it.

i have a chrome orb with nothing else so far, but it's not bad... i'd say go with one of the others though... it seems that they are better

hedgehog is no better than pal6035 though due to its 100-less pins desing 🙁
anyway, if you ask me, the alpha pal6035 is the best you can get now, but if you wait a bit and if you have a mobo that has about 2cm space on each side of the socket, you should go with a taisol "big bad voodoo daddy"......i want one but i cant wait for it to come out 🙂 hehe

right now I have a Alpha PEP66(not made for Durons)and have my Duron 600@1010 1.8v and it runs as cool as can be. I think it is the best cooler for the Duron you have to cut the feet off the heatsink though.

I Just got Pulled off my chrome orb & replaced it with an alpha & I have already knotices a diffrence. & I got the small alpha. I am impressed... Now weel see what happens when I add a 38 cfm fan & a pelt later this week...
