Alpha Pal6035 if you have the dough and the time to try to dig on up anytime soon. Or try this HSF
for a cheaper and easier to find solution.

Do we need to start a "The One and only HSF thread" so that 2-3 question of this nature don't pop up everyday? Kind of like what is happening in the Hot Deals forum.

Yes, this idea would be great! :D

No, H:|ll no, We don't need to have the Forum Moderator breathing down on our neck like they do in the Hot Deal forum! :Q

Man, you sure have something for that TaiSol heatsink. You've been going out of your way posting all over the messageboard about it.

You work for TaiSol? :)

Rudee-
Just trying to get enough people so that maybe someone could hold that group buy. We have about 10 as of right now. Also, I'm working on b/coming a Senior mbr like you. Plus, I sure don't want to study for that Economic test tomorrow. I have been working all weekend and haven't study a single thing.

Good thing, 2cooltek was out of the Fop38 at the time b/c I was going to order that one. Than I'll be up here more b/c I won't be able to sleep w/ that little pocket engine.

Which HSF do you recommend than Rudee?

i would go with the PAL 6035. Think of it this way. You have paid about 400 dollars for that cpu, it's good to have the best cooling possible, even if it costs extra money. dont' cut yourself short of any cooling. It's justnot worht it.

$400!!! I had an expensive CPU, just return it to buy a cheaper Duron. A couple of more months, when price fell on the higher end CPU, I'll upgrade again. The duron Cpu will then be going into my brother's computer.

Where can you actually find a 6035? I had search high and low for it, but can't find anybody instock.

I've got two HedgeHogs and so does a buddy of mine. I also have a couple of Alpha PAL6035's. The 6035's are great coolers with nice copper inserts and are very well made. The Hedgehogs are SOLID COPPER and outperform the PAL6035's with ease! It's about a $15 difference between the two and you can get either at Plycon. Tony (Frodo here on the board) is a pleasure to work with and he also carries a full line of other customizing and cooling fans, cables, connectors and other goodies.

Netopia/Joe,

How does the HedgeHog outperform the Alpha? I have been reading lots and someone did a side by side comparison of the HedgeHog vs the Pal6035 and the PAL outperformed the HH. I will see if I can find the review and post a link to it, but please let me know your experiences as I am looking to buy a good HSF. However, I was planning on waiting till 6035s were available.
