Best Convertible to buy for $20K or less?

A friend of mine is trading his 89 Jeep Wrangler in b/c it has too many problems... Any suggestions? He said Sebrings are out btw lol...

personally, I find convertibles to be pretty girly, except maybe on a ferrari/etc...and they're just trouble anyways. Get something with a good sunroof...

He said he won't buy GM/Chevy... Miata and S2000 are too small... No Sebrings, his mom drives one. Eclipses, he said his g/f drives one so that's out. Any other ideas? 🙂

Saab 9-3 and Toyota Camry Solara are some 4-seaters he could look at. The Volvo C70 is nice too, but he'd have to go older, like a '98.
You can also get an older BMW Z3 for under $20K.

Sebring, Mustang, or Camaro don't look any thing girly, however VW & Miata definately are girl cars.

'97-98 BMW Z3.....

I would never drive one, but you can find one for around $12-14k with higher miles on them. (75k miles) It was only a $33k car to start with so it's gonna be cheap 6 years later. 😉
