I use replenish but used someone else's contact solution when i ran out once and i think that was much better...which leads me to believe mine sucks.

Anyone have a favorite?

Recommended by someone on this board, I was converted from day 1. Fuck the standard horizontal cases.

I just use OptiFree express. Works with most of the 763 different contacts that I've worn in my life.

I switch quite a bit. I tend to buy B&L no-rub Renu. My wife buys the generic stuff. I don't know if they're much different.

If you don't mind paying for it, there is nothing as good at cleaning your lenses as Clear Care.

I just bought the equate stuff back when I wore contacts. I tried the others too from time to time, but it never seemed to make any noticeable difference. The only "bad" contact solution I ever got came from the gift shop of a ratty hotel in the bahamas. That stuff burned my eyes for about 10 minutes every morning when I put my contacts in.

I use costco/kirkland brand... works well. With the no rub solutions you still have to rub the contacts gently to remove any debris/dirt from the lens itself. Other than that you're good... plus it's cheap!

When I was wearing contacts I just stuck with Costco's version. I replaced my lenses every two weeks though.. so not like there was ever much buildup.

I also usually use OptiFree. Haven't worn my contacts in a long time, though.

I never trust the so-called "no rub" approach. It simply doesn't get rid of all the deposits as well. Not sure what the point of the stuff is anyway.

I've never had any trouble with Complete, although I do find the OptiFree to be "smoother."

Weve been using Optifree Replenish for years but thats only because our eye doctor recommends it (i.e., they probably pay him to carry their products and give free samples and stuff).

This.

Never been more satisfied by a contact solution. I have had contacts for about 10 years now and have used the standard rub req'd solution, no-rub, and now the hydrogen peroxide solution (Clear Care). I keep my lenses for about 4 weeks and before using Clear Care, a new pair of contacts felt so much better than the old pair I was throwing away. Now I don't notice as much of a difference between the 4 week old lenses and the fresh lenses.

Its more expensive but since it is covered under my flex spending account has a healthcare item, it doesn't matter to me.

I just buy the really inexpensive equate brand 2-12 fl oz packs from walmart for like $3.98.

I've tried the more expensive $15 bottles and they are all the same to me. I'd much rather spend $2 per bottle than $15/bottle.

Honestly, try a few different ones and see what works.

Try the cheapest first - if it works, your contacts remain comfortable, then you are good to go!

But everyone's eyes will react differently to solutions. Some can use whatever, some have to get a specific solution for the most comfort.

Same here. I just use the Costco brand, it has always served me well.

I love this contact solution so much I thought it deserved it's own thread so more people could experience the awesomeness.
