I'm currently helping out a charity organisation to get out of deficit after their funding got cut. After talking with their treasurer, I'm looking for the best solutions for a cheap and easily accessible accounting package to address and centralise all their financial information.

The treasurer expressed a preference for Sage as she's familiar with it but it's rather expensive - what other options are there?

Quickbooks SimpleStart will get anyone going in no time. Tie that in with Customer Manager and you have a pretty good setup at under $200.00 for both.
