Best console system ever made?

Dreamcast also gets my vote 😀 I loved it, and still buy new games for it (imports from Japan). Too bad it didn't do very well in the States.

I played my SNES A LOT!

I played plenty with PSX also. PS2 less

Dreamcast - Best design for it's time. Too bad it died from moron management.
Playstation - crappy design but awesome marketing
Saturn - difficult to program but extremely powerful for it's time. (Programmed properly, it can run circles around a Playstation)
Atari 2600 - Established Console gaming
Genesis - Probably most all around 'fun' console

Each one was revolutionary/great in it's own right. I'd have to say the NES, b/c it put console gaming on the map.

then what did the atari 2600 do?

not much...

die in an electrical fire

Yea, not much 😛 It was cool but the NES put it on the map. The 2600 was a 1/10 second blip on the radar.

SNES. I love Uniracers (and the other games), the controller was easy to use (and it had shoulder buttons!), and the graphics were great for the time (Donkey Kong Country, Starfox).

Virtual Boy...nothing like lugging around a 20 pound device that only played 3 games that had red lines for graphix and people could easily sneak up on you while playing 😀
