Hello,
Recently I have been in the market for a new monitor specifically for gaming on my PS4. Looked all over the web for some solid input and found plenty of opinions and very little logic to support a suggestion. I figured if there is one place to ask this question it would be here. Given the specs of the PS4 (link below) and current platform based resolution restrictions (namely 1080P @ 60FPS), I am looking for a monitor that will give me the best experience all around for a price that wont brak the bank (Typical). With that being said I wont need fancy features like Nvidia 3D Vision compatibility, 4K, or even a displayport. However I I do want superior color reproduction, quick response time, and low input lag. Looking for a 27" screen that is as thin as possible and aesthetically pleasing with VESA mount compatibility. A PS4 currently costs about $400 so it shouldnt cost more than that, Ideally the monitor would be half the cost of the PS4. So far I think the best contender is the ASUS MX279H but it doesnt have VESA mounts. What do you think and why?
