Best connection ..for now

HDMI > Component > Composite > S-Video

Unlike the rest, HDMI carries both video+audio signals. And I thought fiber optic cables are for audio only?
 
thanks guys.. and lopri... you are probally right about that optic deal.. I really am grasping at straws right now. The reciever should be here tomorrow and am trying to get a fix as to best connections. I do plan on getting a DVD player with HDMI out later on as $$ permits.
