Barenaked Ladies are awesome in concert - definitely the most memorable performance I've seen....very entertaining and funny guys.

Though I have tickets for the first concert of the Summer Sanitarium tour, so come July my answer will probably be different. :)

2 of the best I went to: Rush, REO Speedwagon

Most memorable: Cory Hart (remember "I wear my sunglasses at night")
College show, our frat volunteered to help with all the set-up... shot hoops with the band before the concert (but not with Cory, band said he was a freak about public appearances... paranoid about other people), and partied with the band after the concert.

The weirdest was the Police in 1977. They played a little bar in Toronto, the Edge or the El Mocombo, I can't remember and there were only 13 people in the audience. And they played really well. I think they had just released their first album. We just went to see some guys from England...no idea who they were.
I saw that tour by the Police (if it can be described as a tour) They played at the Catalyst in Santa Cruz. There was a full house but that was only about 200 people. It was an excellent show but not as good as their "Ghost in the Machine" tour.
